Community Participant:
I'm out there! Any community is going to provide the 'serial volunteer' with opportunity! Either through membership or active volunteering, I'm involved in many areas of Vancouver's community. I have been involved with several short events and some longer term - but they all seem to involve nature (Wildlife Botanical Gardens), sustainable lifestyles (Community Choices), walking (WalkClarkCounty, CCMurals) or community (CCHSM).
Education and Training:
My professional real estate certifications include the
Accredited Buyer Representative - this is specialized training for providing real estate services to home buyers.
Certified Negotiation Expert - specialized training in effective and powerful negotiation techniques and principles.
Graduate Real Estate Institute - more advanced training encompassing quality customer service, ethics, business management, cultural differences, contract language (and more!).
In addition to the certification courses, I am frequently attending other training at my phenomenal broker's office, and other events that offer me an opportunity to improve the service I provide to my clients.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and worked in that industry for many years. The training there and the customer interaction skills I learned have translated directly to my real estate career.
